So sorry to hear of Dr.Levys death..he was a very caring, compassionate doctor that I enjoyed seeing at the VA.

Correction , I had the blessing of meeting Dan in 1960 , when we both were 7 .

Dan Levy, when we moved to Florida in 1970 , I met Dan. We played, ran, biked and went to elementary school together. Not many Florida kids went to Saturday school. 5th grade to high school, we roamed the area. His parents were always amazing. ( I have always wondered if your Dad knew we borrowed gas from his car to go to the beach) His sisters incredible. So many days, hours and incredible times together. Always knew he had energy and smarts. Only just spoke to him before our 50th high school...

I just found out of Dan's passing. Whenever I ran into him, we always felt a happy and deep connection. One time, when I mentioned to him that I wanted to reclaim my guitar chops of long ago, he spontaneously came over and gave me a few lessons. What a generous heart he had...always reminded me of a big hugable teddy bear. Wish I had seen him more recently before he passed so I could have given him a big hug.

So sorry to read of my dear cousin's death. My sincere and heart felt condolences to Danny's wife and children ...Cousin Lolly Kerben Laboda

Dan was one of the most wonderful people I ever met. He was my Doctor for over 20 years at the VA. I am missing him already. When he talked to me about Doctors without borders, I knew then and there where Dan's heart was. Rest in Peace, old friend. (Ray Nelson)

I knew Dan only in passing, but what a beautiful person. My heartfelt condolences to Jane, Hannah, Sadie, and all those who are missing him.
