I worked at Ohio Crank for 30+ years, many of them with Dann. My wife and I were recently talking about people we enjoyed working with and Dann was at the top of the list. Now in late 2021 I Googled him and was saddened to see he had passed many years back. I was as short as Dann was tall. We hassled each other at every opportunity, all in a way we both enjoyed. My fondest memory was one time he was picking on me and I looked him straight in the eye (well maybe I had to look up) and said "You...

If you were blessed enough to have met Dann in this life...you would know...in less than ten minutes everything that mattered to him. His adored wife, Loretta.....his treasured sons, Danny and Brian. His daughter-in-laws Patty and Arlene and each of his grandchildren. FAMILY....FAMILY...FAMILY! You were always treated to that smile...that laugh...that twinkle in his eye...it would only take a few minutes.
Dann bragged about his family....and we felt lucky to be surrounded by all of...
