I'll always remember Dan as being my first childhood friend and mentor. He will be sorely missed. I hope to see you all in person at the memorial service. Until then please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. With warmest regards,Alan Barker.

Dan was a member of our Space Systems golf team and since he was the type of person who always looked for ways to improve everything he did, came up with the best way to improve his score was to consume up to 6 cans of beer. Dan was also the key person in our neighborhood to get the overhead air traffic reduced. I will miss the long conversations Dan and I had when he stopped by on his daily walks. God bless the Lizdas...

Our hearts are hurting for the Lizdas family. Dan's passing leaves a big hole in the lives of all who knew and loved him. Our deepest sympathy and prayers. May he rest in peace inthe glory of heaven.
