I just recently learned of Dan’s passing. I got to know Dan when he frequented my car wash, North & Bechtle Car Wash in Springfield. He became a close and trusted friend who watched over my business—the consummate police officer. My condolences to the family who lost a wonderful man. I remember Sergeant Loney. He was a nice guy besides being a positive force in the Clark Co. Sheriff Dept. The Loneys are known for serving the community in law enforcement and I know he will be sorely missed.
