Not sure what to say?

ow, it's been 6 years. I'm so sorry to learn of Dan's passing. I also remember Dan from the Dauphin Ambulance association. He was a founding father and a mentor. He was always the voice of reason and common sense. This world needs more men like Dan. I know that he is sorely missed by all whose lives he touched.

To Mrs. Ludwig & Family,

I am so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. I also knew Dan as "Dan the Man". He was my Sunday School teacher when I was in high school. He was a strong influence on my early Christian life. I will always have fond memories of him. I am sure he is smiling down from heaven now. Rest in peace Dan. You lived a life serving Jesus Christ.

To THE family
The Ludwig family go a way back into the 1940. the brother Charles after leaving Hersey School came to New Holland to work with my Dad and lived with us. Sundays we drove to visit his Mom and Dan.Charles went into the service and gave HIS ALL. The V. F. W. post in New Holland Is named in his honor. Dan and I spent many times together at E. C. meetings and conferences as Lay Delegates. What a experience knowing such a Godly man.

R I P Mr. Ludwig, I will remember working with you at Standard Wheel & Rim. I am praying for your family.

Mary Jane and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with your families at this time. He was a wonderful and sweet man.

The word that comes to my mind with regards to Dan is Christian.
Dan not only believed in the word of God, he lived it.
He did as asked by Jesus and that was to fulfill the Great Commission.
I was honored to be his stepson. My mom Mary Jane and Dan have helped so many in the name of Christ. I am blessed to have them as part of my life.
Dan you will not be forgotten.
Thank you for being you. Now walk side by side with God and His Son and enjoy the view!!

Mrs. Ludwig & Family -

I am so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. Those of us who grew up in Dauphin playing baseball in the 60's & 70's knew him as "Dan the Man". He was a role model to many and we are our fortunate that he was such a giving person.

In the 80's Dan and I would travel to Hersheypark Arena every Monday night to play in our weekly ice hockey game. Something we both looked forward to during hockey season.

I have fond memories of Dan (aka Dan the Man) and feel...

R I P Dan. I worked with Dan for 18 years at Standard wheel and Rim. He was a good man.
