Read MoreI just found out about Dan's passing tonight. I am totally shocked and numbed.
Dan was my fellow keyboard brother. Whenever we would go and hear each other play we would always ask the other to sit in.
I've known him since the early 80's and it was always a pleasure to see his smiling face.
He will be missed!

to the family and friends of Dan, my biggest sympathies. i knew him when i was a child through the band Strormbringer. he was a friend of my father and uncle (Kenny & Neil Bartos). From what i remember he was a sweet and nice guy, who was very talented with the keyboard. again i am sorry to hear this terrible news!!

I am so sorry, shocked and saddened to hear about Danny. I had just seen him a few months ago~~~ after many years~~ at my own brother's (Dale) funeral!! And he was so nice and consoling.... and it just saddens my heart to hear of this loss! We used to all play together as kids~~~ me, Dale, Danny & Tony!!
I can only hope that in someway, somehow, both Danny & Dale are in a better place....

I was honored to know your brother through Neil Bartos. Dan was a incredible musician and intelligent conversationlist. He always greeted you w/a wonderful smile that lit up the room. A very kind person he was.
I am truly saddened for your loss.

To the family of Dan, especially Wally whom I went to high school with. So sorry to hear about Dan. I just talked to him at my brother Dale's funeral in July. What's happening to our young brothers? It's much too early for them to be gone.
