So sorry to hear, great times and memories in Quonnie with Dan. Dan Tarca

So sorry to hear of Dan's passing i think I was friends from the time he moved here.We used to go to the dog track for a nite out. When I moved to Westerly so my mom could be close to the hospital we would meet every couple of weeks at the Ninth Nine House for lunch. Then I moved to Florida and Dan would call once in a while to give me updates on Charleston. I'm going to miss you my friend God Bless you and your family rest in peace

My favorite people to visit and talk to him Daniel at quonchontaug in Charlestown I will miss him a lot

Danny was always one of my favorite people. As a young girl, I remember him as kind and funny, qualities that were his every time I saw him for the rest of my life. I am grateful for his friendship and all the help he gave my family at Quonochontaug for so many years. He was devoted to his family and will be missed by us all.

My heart broke when I read this. I am grateful that I was able to see Dan once again, last month. When I was a kid, some learning problems made math and English difficult. I was lucky to have Danny tutor me and try to help. I never learned a lot about the math or english, but I´ll tell you what I did learn. I learned what a good man, and a good friend is. Danny was a great man and a wonderful friend. For that, I will be forever grateful. It is more meaningful than any school subject.

We first met Danny over 30 years ago when he stopped by and welcomed us into the neighborhood. He had a knack for stopping by for a visit at the perfect time. Later on ,I spent a couple afternoons a week with him and he so enjoyed when we completed a home project together.my deepest sympathy to all the family.Martha Rice
