I am so sorry that Dan has passed. Dan was one of my favorites at DOTD (or the Highway Department as it was called when we started there). He was such a kind and gracious man - a true gentleman. As a veteran myself, I greatly appreciate his love, dedication and service to our country.
I pray that God will bless, keep and strengthen you and give you peace...

Janice, I am so sorry to hear about Dan. I was in Illinois when he passed and only found out about it last night. He was one of my favorite people as you know.. he always called me his "girlfriend". I will certainly keep him and you in my prayers.

I am very sorry to hear about the death of Dan. He was a fine man and I enjoyed my years of working with him. I am very sorry I am not able to make it to the service this morning. Words could not express my saddness to hear of Mr. Dan's passing. After frequenting your home, I feel as though I have been part of the family. I enjoyed listening to the many stories Mr. Dan had to tell. He did love to talk! I loved him dearly and will miss him terribly. Very few patients touch your heart as he did. Rest in peace.

Dear Aunt Jan and family,
