Daniel McLean Maier

Carol, my heart goes out to you. You and Dan were wonderful to work with. Dan always had that unique smile and cheerful disposition. He was amazing with the kids. My love and prayers are with you and your family. He lives in my memories.

I was sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Maier. I had him as a 7th grade teacher. May God comfort your family at this time.

Dan had such an absolute love of life; it was evident every single day. I'm so sorry for his passing, Carol and family. He will be remembered fondly by many.

Dan created so many great memories for the teachers at Redlands and was such a wonderful example to the students. I loved the times I was in and out of his classroom. I am so sorry for your loss.

You will surely be missed by all of us who shared your zest for the out of doors and love of family. You have left us with many great memories and lessons for both things to do and things not to do --- like enjoy all of nature but watch your head for those nasty bumps and bruises. Thanks for the many funny stories; enough to last us a lifetime. Save us all a seat in that beautiful wilderness we all call Heaven. We love you.
