Daniel Mandler
September 11, 1975 - January 26, 2022
Daniel Vernon Mandler, age 46, died peacefully at his childhood home in Petaluma on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 after fighting multiple health challenges caused by a torn aorta and stroke experienced on June 8, 2021.
Dan leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife, Molly (Schroeder), his daughter, Olivia Mae (11), his son, Tucker Vernon (9), his mother, Janice Mandler (Keys), and his brother, Anthony Mandler. He is predeceased by his father, Vernon Mandler, Jr., his first wife, Sheri (Basham) and their son, Levi.
Dan was born in San Francisco on September 11, 1975; however, he lived his entire life in Petaluma. He graduated in 1994 from Casa Grande High School, and though he took woodshop in high school, his love of wood working came from his dad, Vern. After high school he got a job at Curtis & Sons Door, Inc. where he honed his custom woodworking skills. In 2017, he continued his trade with Kelleher Corporation.
Dan met his wife Molly in 2008 and they were married in 2010. Their daughter Olivia was born in August of 2010 and the birth of their son, Tucker, followed in 2012.
Dan enjoyed RC cars, bowling, and collecting watches (of which he had over 30). He was an avid San Francisco Giants fan and loved NASCAR. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family – whether it be in the pool or behind the barbecue. He will be deeply missed by his family, his friends and all who knew him.
A private family service will be held mid-February and a Celebration of Life open to all who loved him will be held at the Petaluma Community Center at Lucchesi Park on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 3pm.
Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered at 1724 Clairmont Ct, Petaluma, CA 94954.
The Mandler Family wishes to thank everyone for their love and support over the last eight months.
