DEAR HEATHER, JASON AND ELLEN:
I AM SO SORRY THAT DAN LOST HIS BATTLE. I HAVE SUCH FOND MEMORIES OF BEING IN YOUR HOME WITH ELISA AS A YOUNG ADULT. I SPOKE WITH ELISA LAST WEEK AND SHE TOLD ME HOW MUCH PAIN DAN WAS IN. Dear Heather,
Although we never met, I feel like I know you somewhat through Dan's letters. I worked for Dan at Hitco for seven years and it was always a pleasure. We had a good rapport and I respected his knowledge and ability to manage a groups of diverse and strong personalities. Dan and I took the EST training about the same time and this helped us to cement a good bond. He was a good person to work for. I am very sorry that Dan had to leave this Earth so soon; I'm sure...

Dan as my colleague at APC, after we the merger in 2004. I found him to be friendly,honest, generous and a real gentleman. May you find consolation in the sunny memories he no doubt left behind.
