Dan was like a second Dad to me. I only knew him a little over four years, but what we shared, and how much I learned from him, it felt as if we'd known each other for decades.
His burly (alright, "grumpy") disposition was intimidating and you never knew how serious he was till he flashed that awesome smile. than you knew you were OK. I miss him already and I know I'll keep missing him for the rest of my life. We truly lost "One Of The Good Ones".

Jean so sorry to hear about Dan. He was a very nice man and had a great sense of humor. I still have my roundtoit! I will think of him whenever I see a firetruck.
