Cathy and Family -
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I did not know Daniel, but reading through this guest book has given me a wonderful glimpse into a life of compassion and love. He has touched many lives and his memory will live on.

Chris, Cathy, Lisa & Sophie,
We are so sorry for your loss. Daniel was a very special young man. Our families paths have crossed through out the years since Lauren and Lisa where in Kindergarten and then Daniel and Stefaney. I remember Daniel coming to Stefaney's 6th Birthday and Chris stayed because Daniel was on the shy side. Time flies and now they are Seniors. RHHS 2012 has lost a wonderful classmate. May your memories help to ease your pain in time. We now have an angel watching over...

My deepest sorrow to you and your family on the loss of such a bright kid. I remember being very close to Dan during elementary school and middle school. He was always funny kid. I will never forget our field trip to Nature's classroom with Dan and all of the other boys. He is truly going to be missed.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Markiewicz and Lisa,
Dan was such a huge part of my life as well as my heart that I will never forget him. I remember him every second, and I know that this must be even harder for you. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral, but I was able to attend the wake and extend my sympathies to Lisa. I loved Dan, and I always will.

The Sea Lions swim team will always cherish the memories of Daniel. He was a quiet swimmer except when boisterously cheering for his teammates and especially his relay teams. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family at this time of sorrow. May peace be with you all. With much love, Melisha, Shawn, Cristina and the RHSL swim team

To the Markiewicz Family,

My son, Chris had classes with Dan and remembers him as a good person. We are so very sorry for your tragic loss. He is at peace now and in God's hands. With our thoughts and prayers,
