Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you buddy !

Dan and I knew each other in high school. Played football together. When I came back from Viet Nam, he was one of the few people that would talk to me, treat me normally. He invited me to his school to talk to the children about the war. He never knew how much that meant to me, how much it helped me get over that War. Semper Fi, Dan. I'll see you again someday

I am absolutely distraught over this unexpected news. Dan Martin was my 7th grade basketball coach at St. John's. After not having seen him since I moved out of town 25 years ago, we had recently connected on Facebook and I was really looking forward to reminiscing at our next St. John's get together. What a great personality, sense of humor and all around good guy. His last post to me was a compliment about how much I reminded him of my dad. This is very, very sad news. My deepest...

I am so sadden by the loss of a good family friend of The Winafeld - Stewart family. Dan was always at our home and have so many wonderful memories of him. I will miss you my friend. R.I.P. Danny.

Dan was my 2nd cousin. Always had a smile and a joke for u. He will be greatly missed at the family reunion and Mountaineer

I will miss the laughs, smiles and the witty humor. God bless !

So sorry tho learn of the death of Dan.
we have known Dan for 50 years. High scholl and then working at Mckinley. Always such a great, charming guy. Our reunions and the planning of them will never be the same without you. Just thinking about seeing you last summer with Kathy at the Arcadia. You will truly be missed. One of the great ones for sure. Peace and Blessings Ed and Diane Seeton

I was so shocked and saddened to learn of Mr. Martin's passing. I remember him most fondly for his sense of humor. I looked forward to going to school because he made learning both fun and interesting (Mckinley Sr Class of 1985).

My deepest condolences to Dan's family and friends.

Deepest of sympathies........
