Dear Michelle and Family : Michelle the years go by and people loss contact .But i read this in the paper and was so sadden.I lost my second husband to cancer and I know what it is to go though the loss. Be strong and God will get you though it "God bless you and your family always sue

Michelle, It has been a long time since we spoke,but I wanted to pass along my sympathies to you and the family.I will always remember Danny bringing me to the race track when I was a kid,and giving me advice on life.He helped me when I went to Smith and Wesson out of high school and made me realize that I needed to get out of there!I used to laugh so hard I hurt.For that,I will always be gratful.Please pass along my sentiments to Mike,and God bless..Richie Girard Jr.

Words cannot describe how much Dan will be missed.But, I will forever cherish the moments with cousin Dan and some of the most heart felt conversations I had with an individual. I remember especially the conversations about what it means to be a Mason, his treatments and my father's. When we were kids growing up, I used to spend nights with Dan at either 36 Daniel Drive or at our grandfather’s ‘UH UH’ house. Dan would be my mentor with his no-nonsense approach to life. He would bring me out to the field where we’d play football or baseball, an even though I was the smallest guy there he’d find a spot for me. I was amazed at how well he played everything. As we got older I had became what I thought was a decent basketball player and went out to play with him where he...

Dan an I shared the excitement of racing. In retrospect, I look back and it wasnt racing that made it exciting it was Dan. I have been to see races since but certainly not the same however I cherish all the memories.
