Not sure what to say?

I just finished reading his obituary and I can say without any hesitation that he was a person anyone would have loved to meet and to be friends with. Mattingly family you were blessed with a great son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle,
and friend.
God Bless You All.

He definitely projected a fortitude of warmheartedness, inner strength and gentle humour to all of us at St. William. Thanks Dan for showing us the right path. Blessings to you and yours!

We had the pleasure of getting to know Dan at St.Polycarp. He will be missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family.

Mary, Dan was a wonderful man. Even though I didn't know him well he gave such a memorable speech at Robert's funeral that I always will remember and the nice dinner's we shared with you both at X-mas with your group of friends. Prayers and peace at this sad time. Rose Foushee, Fay's sister.

We were so sorry to hear of Danny's sudden death. He was a dear cousin & we had fun growing up together. We enjoyed seeing him at every family reunion. Our sincere sympathies to Aunt Ina, Mary & his sisters. He has joined his Dad, Hugh & talking over good times. Sorry we can't make it to the funeral since we're visiting out of town. Our prayers are with you.

Prayers and good memories to all family and friends. With deepest sympathy,
Mary Beth Nethery (Fay Hoffmann's daughter)

You afforded me a glimpse of your family during those many mornings in the coffee room. It was obvious you share a strong bond. That leads me to believe that your family will comfort and support you, and each other, as you celebrate Dan's life and cherish the many memories he left you. God Bless all of you during...
