Dan was an energetic media leader and always a welcoming person. His skills, resilience and sense of humor led to his successes in bringing classes to students around the state.

Dan's obit describes him perfectly. He was always a sunny, funny, and very effective guy with whom those of us who worked with him enjoyed many happy times. In my case, it usually involved friendly rivalry about the Broadcast programs at Boston University (his alma mater) and mine (at Emerson College).
