Not sure what to say?

Dan was a great friend and colleague. He was there for me at a very dark part of my life. He was a wonderful man and great teacher. We made many memories working together on the musical. Many loving prayers and thoughts to his family. He is sure to be celebrating with his Savior and we'll see him soon. God bless!

Sorry to hear of Dan's passing. My prayers are with you. I remember Dan with his wonderful smile and how much he truly cared for all students. There will be a void in all lives that he touched. Thinking of you all.

So sad to hear this. He made a huge impact in my life when I was at Hononegah. He was one of the best teachers I had.

Very sad to hear about the loss of Coach McAvoy. Terribly sorry for your loss. He was a terrific teacher and mentor. He definitely helped me find self confidence and a positive outlook. I believe that he was the teacher from Hononegah that had the greatest impact on my life.

Very sad to hear this news. I was just one of many students at Hononegah High School (class of 93) whom he inspired. It was always nice to see his smiling, happy self in class. One of the memories I have of Mr McAvoy is, that every time I heard it, reminded me of him, still to this day, was one of his favorite songs he would play sometimes for his students is "Spirit in the Sky". I would like to send my sincere condolences to his family. He was truly a great man and will be missed. I will...

My heart goes out to all of you. If i can do anything please call. 815-621-2703
