I remember that he introduced me to Heath Bar Ice cream when I stayed over at Gram's one night. It was the best! I also remember that he was the one to always bring kielbasa to the parties. In the past I had done many of the family members hair for them and in the last several years I took care of Val's and Dan's hair hair, keeping them looking good (I hope). Dan was a warm and friendly man with a great sense of humor. He was a wonderful younger brother to my dad, who loved him so much. Rest in peace, Uncle Dan. The pain is gone now, and you are reunited with those you loved and lost. Maybe you can pull some strings and help Notre Dame save their football season. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Uncle Dan was one of the warmest and funniest people I've ever known. I remember he didn't like cheese, at least when I was a kid.
