My thoughts and prayers are with the entire McCarthy family. I had the pleasure of visiting with Dan every week for the last 1 1/2 years at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. We played Wii, went bowling, watched TV, read the Bible and had many great discussions. He always spoke very highly of his family. It was 1 1/2 years that I will never forget.
