Not sure what to say?

Dodie ,I often think of the many good times I had with Dan especially when we worked for Brooklyn Union Gas Company. Because of my mischievous ways I succeeded in getting us banished from Grand Ave Gas Tank location and sent to the Greenpoint location where I still got us in trouble. I also remember the fun we had in the Hamptons at our "SHA SHA" summer house. I hope you and your family are doing well.

Thoughs and prayers from the Potts family !! His light shines even brighter as he passes....

I was so very sorry to hear of Danny's passing. What a special person he was. Though I sadly did not get to know him well, there was a special kindness that just eminated from him. Please know my heart and prayers are with you now,Dodie. All best,Jan Potts

Words cannot describe the shocking news of our neighbor and friend, Danny. For 27 years, Dan always greeted us with the kindest, warmest
and friendliest smile. We witnessed his loving devotion to Dodie and Ryan. We In Peace. We send our deepest condolences to Dodie, Ryan, family, and friends, and will keep them in our prayers.

I just got home from a family dinner, and my teacher wife, Maria, just got off the phone with one of her student's fathers, whom was a former student of Dan. I just learned of the extremely sad news of Danny's passing. Dan, Dodie, and Ryan are around the corner neighbors. We met them in church and around the neighborhood, 27 years ago. Dan was always the friendliest, kindest, and sweetest man to us. We pray that Dan Rest In Peace. We send our strongest prayers and deepest condolences to...

It is with such sadness that I read today of Mr. McCartney's passing. As a mother of a former Buckley student I know he was loved by all the boys there. Although my son graduated many years ago, Mr. McCartney always said hello when passing me on the street, often inquired about my son, and always had a wonderful smile on his face. I will miss him. He left us far too early.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
