Carol, if you are seeing this message, the only reason I stopped calling to check on you is because all my phone numbers were erased...

Dear Carol and Family, they say no one is really gone till there name is forgoten. Danny Mac will be with us all for years, for who ever met him will have great stories to remember and tell.

Dear Carol and Family, We're very saddened to hear about Danny passing. What a great guy! We have many fond memories, and can't help to look back on the days where we all partied up in the "Thistledown Lounge", many years ago. We know he put up a good fight. You're in our thoughts and prayers. With love, Mike and Nellie Mackey

Johnny, Nicole and family, I am sorry to hear about your loss. He will live in your memories forever. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all during this difficult time. Josh

I had the good fortune of knowing Danny and his family. We shared many memories and good times. When Danny was a jockey I worked on the starting gate and we worked together later as racing officials. He will always be remembered for the great times in the jockey room when he was the clerk of scales. Again, it was my pleasure to know him. Our sympathy, Jim Pertz and Family.

My deepest sympathy to the McDonald family. I was a classmate of Dan (also Billy and Susie) in Twinsburg and have many happy memories of the time we spent together. Although I had been out of touch with the family since high school, I recently ran into Dan at a hospital. The years had not erased his brilliant smile and friendliness. May God bless his wife and family with peace and happy memories.
