Daniel McGranaghan (Captain Skinner, Pops, Danny Boy) was a major influence in my life back in the early 1980´s. I met and worked with him at the Shop Rite of Marlton. In very short order I was fishing with him on his new, at the time, Proline boat. I spent many a weekend at his place in West Wildwood. I eventually painted the the Irish Lads logo on his boat and it was always a source of pride to have been asked by him to do so. Dan also was responsible for inviting me on my first offshore...
