Daniel M. McHale Sr.

I remember that Dan lived in Mineola during the time that we spent at BP. I've been living in Mineola for over 40 years now and whenever I drive back and forth on Jericho Tpk. or Hillside Ave. and pass Emory Rd., I think of Dan - always such happy memories. - Bob Rovegno

I was fortunate to share 4 years with Dan at Brooklyn Prep. We played together on the BP baseball team where Dan excelled and was a true leader. Off the field, Dan was a wonderful friend and classmate. We remained close through the annual reunion of the BP Alumni Association, and he will be truly missed.

I just returned from my high school reunion and heard of the passing of my classmate and teammate at Brooklyn Prep. He was outstanding basketball player who made his teammates better players when you were on the court with him. Such a great guy. My condolences and prayers for Danny and his family. May he rest in peace!
