Not sure what to say?

Dan&Stan-Hawaii~1980s?

My Dear McMahon Ohana:
The passing of your Dad is most bittersweet, indeed. We all know how anxious he was to return to your Mom's side after her passing, but of course, the loss we feel is not easily consoled. I send to you my most sincere condolences and blessings for comfort - I truly share in your loss. Your family has always been so gracious and kind to me - I was always made to feel like one of the clan (which I have the dishwater hands as proof of my kinship) and my hanai...

To the McMahon Family,

Your dad was my freshman year English teacher at LT back in 1980. Not only did he make the learning experience in his class fun, he personally encouraged me to go up to the Honors level for English. I followed his advice and wound up having a successful career in LT's advanced English classes. I am now helping pass on some of that knowledge to my own son, who is a freshman at LT in Honors English.

I am sorry about the passing of your father. ...

The McMahon Clan,
You are all fortunate beyond words to have Dan in your lives. Having taught at LT with Dan for over 25 years, I have heard many stories about many of you. Since every other comment out of Dan's mouth began, "Well, Mary said..." I also know what a wonderful pair they made. Whether talking in the school cafeteria or on the golf course, Dan and I had more laughs and fun than should be legal in any state. Since I moved to another state, I've spoken well of him often and...

Ron and I enjoyed many good times with
Dan and Mary. for several years we went
to Eagle Ridge in Galena with Larry,
Maggie, Bev Freeman, and my sister Jan.
We had such a nice time and it's a
wonderful memory. Dan will be missed
by many.

I loved talking about literature with you, Dan. I loved seeing your face light up when you were with the family. Thank you for the memories. I will be praying for you. May you rest in peace and joy along with Mary and Danny. Please be sure to give Danny a kiss for John and I. Love, Dawn Jelinek

We send our prayers and deepest sympathy. We have very special memories of good times with your dad, and your mom, and he will be missed. He is a good man and I pray that he is now at peace after being so sick for so long. Our love and prayers are with your whole family.
Love, Jack and Joanne and John and Dan an Emily Stefiuk

Dear Larry and Dan's Family; I was so sorry to hear about Dan.As you know Larry, I taught with Dan at St. Philip for awhile before we both took different teaching jobs. I really got to know Dan during our time teaching together, he was a great guy and always had a smile on his face. Another fantastic Gael gone. Jack

One of the first weddings I ever attended (I was 10)was the marriage of your mom and dad. Your mom was the the most beautiful bride I ever saw and your dad the most handsome groom. They were always one of my favorite couples. I know they are happy to be together again. Danny was very special. I remember his laugh so well. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.

Dear Mike, Christa and Family,

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time. We love you so much and are so sorry for your loss.

Debbie and Keith
