Not sure what to say?

I feel very fortunate to have known Dr. McMenamin, when he was a Resident, at Lenox Hill Hospital. He is one of the key reasons I am blessed to have made the recovery I did. I will always be grateful, for his very fine help. My most heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

I just heard the sad, sad new from Susie; I am gutted. Very sincere condolences to Susie and his whole family.

Dr. McMenamin touched me in a number of profound ways; I have no doubt that I am a better person today because I was fortunate to know him. He had a beautiful soul and a heroic spirit that will exist forever.

Although I saw Dr. McMenamin for a number of years it wasn't until quite recently that he told me he had attended Central High School. So ironic as I went to...

You changed lives for the better. You are missed. You are loved.

Dr. McMenamin helped me through the darkest period of my life. He helped me out of a deep depression and he is the reason I am able to enjoy my life today. I will always remember him and how he changed my life. How he saved me. Dr. McMenamin rarely shared anything about his personal life but I want the people who knew and loved him to know that I am here stronger today because of him. I am able to be with my family with a smile and work a successful career because of him. Dr. McMenamin...

Dan, my beloved grandson, loved life and squeezed more loving and giving of himself in his 40 years than most people achieve in much longer lifetimes. He will be missed by everyone who was privileged to know him. Mimi

Dan was a good soul. Incredibly sweet, caring, and kind-hearted. The type that took the time to genuinely get to know you. A very caring and compassionate man indeed. Will miss him.

Dan was very empathetic and had no trouble keying into anyone's particular sense of humor to make them laugh.

A lovely, kind, and fun person I wish I had seen more of after college-- but I'm so glad he took the precious time to look up old friends in his last months. I'll always remember his huge, genuine smile, just like in this nice photo.

My deepest condolences to his loved ones.

Dan was a loving courageous physician. Someone who would go the extra mile for anyone in need . He will be missed for his friendship, care and smile.

I remember taking Danny to the Franklin Institute when he was 8 years old. So sorry about his passing. We will miss Danny.
