Not sure what to say?

I'm sorry for loss to our family.

Dear Family:
I am so sad to hear of Dan's passing. Dan and I worked together in the 80's at Tavern in the Square and later at Goshen's catering. Dan was the light of the room with his marvelous sense of humor. Just the thought of Dan brings a smile to my face. He was a fabulous chef; creative in everything he prepared. I lost touch with Dan in rescent years but he was always at the top of the list of people who could cheer me up just by bring "Dan." I sent my thoughts and prayers to each...

The Pastoria family was very sad to know that Dan is gone from us. I haven't seen him since he cooked for the family at Wingfoot Lake Park where we had a small reunion. He was born four months before Dick and I got married in 1952. He was a sweet baby and we have several pictures of Michael, Danny, Susan, and Patrick when they were very young. The family came to live behind us in Portage Lakes, where Dick and I stayed with his parents when we first got married. Joanne, their mother, is...

Dear Mrs. McMillen, Susan and family;

I remember as kids coming over occassionally (Herb and Smitty from the White House's daughter, Shelly) and I remember Danny as a kid of about 14. I am fortunate in that to me, he is still that same kid as I never saw him again, although I have thought of your family often through the years. But I remember him as being very cool and a lot of fun. I was sorry to read of his passing, and I am keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

My Memories Are Fond:

When we were kids, I admired Dan for his brilliant wit and great sense of humor. He ran with my older brother and I always felt like nothing more than the little brother tagging along.

When we became teens, Dan and I played in a rock & roll band one summer. We were rough but it was fun. We only received gigs because we did not charge to play. For me, it was like making it because to be accepted by Dan meant being accepted by everyone.

When we...

Dear Judy, Mrs. McMillen, and Susan,
It is with a very heavy heart that I meditate over Dan's passing. Those of us who have been in the food service business have met many unique people over our careers, and Dan was at the top of my list. I can remember he and I singing along with the radio during return trips from catering functions many years ago. To this day, I have never met anyone who could match his creativity with food. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Judy,

Mom our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. We love you very much. God bless you

Pat,Joanne,Susan & Family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. My children loved to listen to danny play the piano for them, he made my mother a very happy person over the past 18 years. I know she will miss his companionship as well as you will miss him as a brother. God Bless

To all of Dan's family, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I have many fond memories of Dan. Many blessings to you all.
