Not sure what to say?

I miss Dan and think about him regularly. His story comes up many times during the year when I tell people about this awesome guy and classmate that was a reliable and model student with a huge personality.

Dear Kathleen, I love touching Dans spirit by keeping up with your children in Facebook. They are beautiful reflections of the special bond you and he shared. I know with every fiber of my being how incredibly proud he is of you and your entire family. It may be weird to say but I find myself missing him more now- maybe it´s because like you my kids are in college and it just brings me back to that first time I met him in the Heights- something that changed my life forever. Condolences...

Just checking in 22 years later. Not a day goes by that I don´t think about my big brother! Danny would be 51 this year. leading up to the 22 yr Anniversary of 9/11. And in so many ways.. I´m am still heartbroken all these years later. A McNeal/ Sheeler update: Little Danny is now a College Senior at Salisbury University, interning for the FBI for forensics accounting, and playing baseball. ( Did I mention he is All American and broke the HR record at Salisbury) . I´m sure Uncle Danny...

Dear Kitty,

Danny remains in our thoughts. We still remember him as a little first grader at Mount Washington and a great friend to our son, Kevin.
We I'll never forget him or your family in our prayers.

In Memory
With Honor & Respect.

I was friends with Dan during our freshman year at BC. He is to this day one of the nicest people I have ever met. In a fit of nostalgia I thought to look him up, and found out today that he had passed. I had lost touch with Dan, and had no idea he was in the World Trade Center that day. I was there that morning, and had no idea an old friend was so near, or what happened to him that day. I am profoundly saddened by his passing, and my obliviousness to it. Rest in peace, Dan.

I was with Dan the Sunday before the tragedy. I tried to get him to hang out but he insisted on leaving after brunch to go to work on a Sunday. I still remember watching him walk away to the subway. We were really close in bschool and in nyc. We saw each other every couple weeks and talked on the phone constantly. Eleven years later, I am still sad and I think of Dan at every occasion he isn't part of. I was on the phone with the receptionist at Dan's office trying to get through to Dan when...

I met Daniel by chance a few days after I moved to NYC. He was by far one of the best people I've ever met and I can't believe it's been 11 years since that life changing day. My thoughts and prayers go out to those who knew this wonderful man far better then I ever did. We will never forget...xoxo Dan
