Daniel “Danny” M. McNeil, age 65, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020. He was born January 31, 1954 in Miami, FL to John and Margaret (Deeson) McNeil. He was a resident of Avon Park since 1989 where he owned and operated Auto Glass Service for 25 years. He was an avid drag racer and a life-long fan of anything that went fast.  Danny is survived by  his Wife-Anna McNeil of Avon Park; Son-Gary McNeil of Avon Park; Daughters-Kaitlyn McNeil of Brandon, FL and Harmony Booker(Kyle) of Riverview, FL; Sister-Cathy Brown (Jerry) of Ft. Meade, FL; Brothers-John McNeil(Reta) of Texas; Victor McNeil of Avon Park; 3 Grandchildren- Nicholas, Quinn and Madden along with a host of Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by Parents-John and Margaret McNeil and Brother-Gary McNeil. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Anna, and family we are so sorry for your loss, Danny, was a great guy and will be greatly missed, I would run into him every once in a while and we would visit and laugh ,talk about hot rods and pit bull dogs.we will never forget him. We hope the lord will bless and comfort you

This world lost a great man. I got to know Danny only just recently, but in that short amount of time I grew to admire his candor and his power of observation. I admired Danny for how he was an magnificent Dad and would do anything for his kids and family. No matter how busy he was, he always put his family first. I respected Danny for not following the crowd and for always fighting for what he felt was right - even when the odds were not in his favor. I dont think he let everyone get to...
