Dan's big smile and way of greeting people like they were a long lost childhood friend will be missed about the MSFC campus and the Redstone Golf course.

To The Mellen Family,
At such a time as this, words always seem like futile things. However, we reflect back in our memories of those times Danny shared with us and realize Heaven proclaims for only the best and Danny is there now smiling down on all of us.
This little short story was shared with us when our brother passed away and we'd like to share it with you........
All the Angels in Heaven were marching around the streets paved in gold with their candles shining...

Dan was a great guy, we had some fun times in high school doing silly things, just being young. I remember backyard football and hanging out in JOJ between classes. Whenever I saw him in later years, like at Stars games, we always enjoyed catching up with each other. His fun personality will be greatly missed. Prayers to his family. So long Dan, see you in our heavenly home.
