Not sure what to say?

Dan, I was blessed to have known you and taken care of you, if only for a short while...and I loved you -

Nancy and family,
Just wanted you to know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. I remember the entire family from St. Mark's. Dan will be greatly missed.
Merville and Iona Ray's daughter,

My prayers are with you Nancy and the family. Dan was a great guy and I was blessed to have him as a friend.

You, Nancy and Dan, were so supportive of my work at the Tri-State Food Bank in so many ways.

I remember when you all bought a car that was capable of transporting food to food pantries.

Also, I remember the Pepper Jelly you all made with ingredients from your garden. You sold it and gave the money to the Food Bank.

I will keep you and the...

What a great guy! Dan and Nancy were so supportive of my work at Tri-State Food Bank.

I will never forget those jars of Pepper Jelly that they made with plants from their garden. They sold them and gave the money to the Food Bank.

He will be missed.

I owe Dan much; during my 40+ year career, Dan was my model.
He gave me my first job at ONB after getting my BS from IU and
being discharged from the USMC in 1961. Also at ONB, I meet
Liz Fickas; we've been married over 50 years. Thank you Dan!

Nancy and family.
Dan's physical presence in this life was a joy to be hold. As we trust in God we know his spirit lives on. May God's comfort be your companion.

Two banking personalities passed away within a short time -Bob Hargrave and Dan Mitchell. They contributed to the business world and to their community. Dan had a great horseradish receipe along with his pepper jelley. His dog was devoted to him and enjoyed visits. We will miss this great man. Dr. Wm. Schmidt

Please accept our condolences. So many fond memories we can't begin to name them all. My mom & dad loved spending time with the Mitchell's and shared their love for jazz music. He was a great influence on me with my banking career but more importantly was a great friend to the Kniese family. We will keep you in our prayers.

My condolences to the Mitchell family. He was an outstanding man, as a father, husband, businessman, and our leader at ONB. He will always be in our hearts forever, and never forgotten!
