Not sure what to say?

I met Daniel Paul (DP) when he was living here in Portland nearly fifteen years ago, when his Dad was in decline. Daniel loved his Dad and was so good to him - that was one of the things that drew me to him, along with his sense of humor. We dated at first (!) but ended up being good friends. I got to Boston for the first time and then Maine in August of 2019. I stayed in Short Sands at the Inn DP was running then. It was a lovely visit, and Daniel made sure I had fresh Maine lobster for the...

I will always remember Dan as a funny, giving and incredibly caring person. He gave me a place to stay during one of my visits to NH, and even jumped my car at 8am bc it wouldn´t start. Kindness was an instinct for Dan. But most of my memories are of him with his kids and their families. I think he would love knowing he lives on in our memories always tied to his family.

The Mitchell family lived a few blocks south of us on 18th I remember the Totem pole in their yard I also remember Dan from The Madeline years Dan and Tim and the rest of the Mitchell´s we´re always kind to me

I knew Dan in high school as we were classmates. He was a really good guy, easy going. I had hoped he would be at our 50 year reunion as I wondered what had happened to him. Prayers to his family as this is a hard loss.

When I used to babysit Andrew and Darcy, we would always make Snickerdoodles. When Dan would get home from work, he´d reach for the cookies the second he walked in the door, before saying a word LOL. I think I babysat when they didn´t really need me, just so he´d get cookies He was truly the best person I´ve ever known. He had more compassion for people than anyone I´ve ever met. And he gave you his time and focus, so you´d know he really cared about how you were doing. He had the hugest...

Just Dan and moi, catching up.
