My son Melvin just mentioned him and I searched for him only to learned that he passed 4 years ago. My babies were on his route when I lived in Peoria, they attended Franklin and they always talked about Mr. Dan. Especially when he used to come get them and took them places with him and Brien. We left Peoria in 2012 and have been back in Chicago since. I lost my oldest son Jamel due to a pedestrian car accident in 2016. I am so sad to learn of Danny’s passing. I was planning to stop and visit him and Jackie in just a few weeks. I have funny memories of our long conversations about politics, food, sports and E bluff gossip when we were neighbors.
