I am so sorry to hear about Daniel. I had the pleasure of meeting him during his stay in Boston for his heart transplant. During those encounters, he tought me more about the true meaning of courage and pure happiness than anyone or anything ever has! His life has truly made this world a better place.

We will miss you much Daniel, I remember you as an infant in our PICU and at the ground breaking ceremony of the Children's Medical Center. But most of all I remember you as the the most joyful boy who loved life more than any other child. You were one of the braviest people I ever met.

Julie, I was crushed to hear about your son, Daniel. After working at MCG in the development office (with Carole Smith), I got to know Daniel through your touching reports about his past and future hurdles he faced. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. May God bless and comfort you with His plan to call Daniel home to be with Him. And Julie, thank you for being the best mom a child could ever have!!
