Danny at a Somerville Recreation Event at Dilboy Field.

I was sorry to hear of Danny's passing. I remember him riding his bike up and down Lexington Ave. each day. He would often stop to play with my kids in our yard, especially my son Alex. He is remembered now and will be always. This picture was taken at one of the many Somerville Recreation events that Danny was a part of. May happy memories bring you comfort.

Hi Steve, Joe, Janet and Tommy. I was deeply saddened to hear of Dans passing. I have so many wonderful memories of Dan riding his bike around the block!! My earliest memories of Dan were when my twin sister Diane and I would go to your house when my Mom did patterning (?) with Dan and your Mom. Please accept my deepest condolences, Dan still makes me smile!! Love and prayers to you all!! Nancy James-Dombrowski

So sorry to hear about Danny. He was always such a gentle and kind person. He was always wearing a smile. RIP Danny you are riding with the angels now

I grew up with Melissa, Steve & Richie, my cousins, and always thought of Danny as Uncle Danny even though he wasnt actually my uncle. Danny was the kindest, sweetest soul. He was always so happy, so positive. Im so sad that Danny has passed away, but I know he is with his parents in Heaven now. RIP Danny, we love you.

Dan and Julie Smith

Sending along my deepest condolences to Dan's family. He was a good friend of my sister Julie's from bowling and the Walnut street center. I am very sad to hear of his passing. I have added a picture of him from Julie's 40th birthday party a few years back. He made her whole day by dancing with her. The word has lost a very kind soul.

I had the opportunity to meet Dan at bowling. Dan was sweet, kind, pleasant and always a gentleman. He was a good friend to my brother in law Alfred Resteghini. They were teammates and looked forward to being with each other at bowling every week.

Our family is sad to hear of his passing.

Sincerely,
Annmarie Resteghini

Even though my heart feels broken for the loss of my beloved cousin Danny it gives me great comfort to know that Danny is now resting in peace with our Lord, his beloved parents, Grandmother and loving Aunts and his Uncle (My Dad). I only wish that we could have witnessed that sweet reunion and see them welcoming Danny with open arms to his forever home. I can see them all dancing, singing and rejoicing at his arrival to Heaven. Dan was such a bright light, warm, easy going and always smiling...

What I remember most over the past 56 years is Danny's sweet innocence. He was always kind, engaging, and happy. Danny never displayed negativity, a bad mood or impatience. He loved being with family and was our sweet soul who motivated us to look outside of ourselves and be grateful.
Thank you for your lessons, Danny! Cousin Lynn will never forget what you taught me.
