Not sure what to say?

Dear Angela, I am so sorry to learn of Dan's passing. He was a good friend, a good firefighter, and I'm sure a great husband to you. I will never forget him.

My thoughts and prayers to the family. Faced him as a hitter from little league thru high school. He will always be that highly respected local athlete. He had a great presence on the mound and obviously as a person. Scott Beeman

So very sorry for Your loss. Go in Peace Murph.

Met Dan as part of same recruit class at SFD training center 12-6-76. Many, many great memories at SFD Training Center softball field games, tournaments, and family cookouts. Thought I was pretty good with water buckets at the 8's, until I was transferred to Pine St Group C and tried to keep up with Dan and his crew. Great to be on his side, either at the Fire Station or the ball field. We are very sorry for your loss.

Dear Mrs. Murphy and Family May God comfort and strengthen you during this sad time. Know that others are thinking of you. Your Neighbors of 25 Years, The Graysons

Angela We were so sorry to hear about Dan´s passing. You both fought a very long and hard battle. You´re in our thoughts and prayers. Al and LuAnn

I will miss you Grumpy. When it´s my turn, we will have a nice game of liars poker up in the sky. Rest In Peace.

I will miss my friend Dan We had a lot of fun over the years at Ludlow C.C. enjoyed many cigars together. May you rest in peace Dan.

The picture tells the story. The wry grin and the competitive look. Whether it was on the ball field, the basketball court or the golf course,Dan loved the challenge of competition and for that He was well respected. He was also a well respected Firefighter. Most of all He was a well respected person for being a kind and caring person. It was a pleasure to have known Dan. The Murph Man will be missed even by the ones that He constantly struck out on the ball field.
