Hi Kathi and John,
I was shocked when I heard that Dan had died. I remember Dan in the junior program on Saturdays at Rally Point. He was a great kid who sounds like he grew into a great man judging by all these messages people wrote!! He seems to have made a gigantic impact on his students with his enthusiasm. I am so sorry for your loss.

Thank you so much for everything, its almost been a month and I still cant believe that you are gone. You have taught me so much ever since I started playing tennis, and everything that you taught me, I will continue to use in the future. I pray for you each and every day, and wish that I could see you one more time. I miss you more and more every day. Rest in peace.

So saddened and shocked to hear of your loss; a Loss no parent should have to face. May the happy times you spent with your son bring you peace at this difficult time. We met Dan at Rally Point where my girls had the pleasure of taking lessons with him for the past several years. He was always smiling and kept them enthusiastic about the sport. He will be missed.

I am the coach at Curry College, my name is Richard Murray.I only knew Dan as an opposing coach, during team introductions I use to kid him that I liked his last name. He was an excellent tennis player and always showed good sportsmanship. I am very sorry on his passing and will always think of him when we play Endicott. I am sending a donation in his name.

Though I did not know Dan as well as most, I always looked forward to Friday afternoons in the summer when he taught me tennis. One of my favorite memories. I have never known a person so passionate for the sport of tennis and teaching like Dan.

Dear Kathy & John ,
I was shocked to learn of Dan's passing.I will always have fond memories of him on the Hendricken courts. From the trick shots to him hitting tennis balls at the hawk flying overhead.
Dan was one of my favorite players that i ever coached at Hendricken. He was not the best player I coached but one of my favorite . My thoughts and prayers go out to both of you at this time and I wish I could be there for the funeral but i am in Florida until Wed.

All one needed to do was to meet Dan once and you knew there was something very special about him. He was funny, interesting, and an artist on the court. This is a great loss for all of us who knew him and also for those he would have impacted in the future. A great kid! Hearts broken.
