Nagy, Daniel A. "Dan" Of Hartland. Left us suddenly on August 14, 2006, at the age of 30 years. Perfect husband and best friend of Colleen (Doyle). Devoted and loving father of McKenna and Andrew. Beloved son of Bonnie and the late Robert Nagy. Treasured brother of John Nagy and Wendy (Chris) Hendrickson. Cherished grandson of Henry Nagy. Fond nephew of his Great Aunt Betty Hintz. Loving son-in-law of Jerry and Sandy Doyle. Dear brother-in-law of Kathy (Kurt) Alexander. Fun-loving and devoted uncle of Bill and Sarah Nagy; Dillon and Sienna Hendrickson; Cade and Ryan Alexander. Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Dorothy Clark and his grandmother, Mary Nagy. Dan will be greatly missed by other relatives, many friends and his extended Spancrete family. Dan was a graduate of Arrowhead High School and St. Olaf College. Dan was a very vibrant person and lived life to its fullest. He had a multitude of passions. An avid outdoorsman, Dan had a tremendous love of fishing and hunting, especially with his dog, Cody. Dan was an All-American Alpine ski racer. He enjoyed windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing, flying and riding his Harley. But nothing was better than being behind the wheel of his Stars and Stripes Mastercraft…Andrew in his lap, fighting to take control of the wheel. Dan enthusiastically included his children in his life's passions…there couldn't be a better father! Dan was the grandson of the founder of The Spancrete Group, where he was Vice President of Business Development. Dan was a "hands-on" employee who came up through the ranks. Spancrete was a great part of Dan's life- he loved the company and all of the employees. Dan was a shareholder in Pilot's Camp in Ontario, Canada and Rock Bend Hunting Club in Oconomowoc. He was a member of Chenequa Country Club and the Pewaukee Yacht Club. Visitation on Sunday, August 20 at the Funeral Home from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Not sure what to say?

Will always charish our friendship and you will never be forgotten.

it's been so long and still I miss danny like he was chillin with me yesterday

I had a dream about both bob and daniel last nite. I awoke feeling great. monica

Dan will truly be missed; he and I spent much time together in college and on the road to and from home. He always made the best of any situation with his laughter and easy going way. I send you my deepest sympathies.

Colleen, I'm so very sorry. We didn't make the connection until we saw you tonight at WeeKnow. I wish there was something I could say or do that might ease your pain for just a moment.
Please let me know if you need someone to help with McKenna (picking her up from school or anything).
All our love and prayers for you and your family.
Love, Wendy, Peter and Olivia Muth

Danny Boy was a genuine, honest, sincere young man. I will always remember him for his great sense of humor, being late to production meetings, spilling coffee on each other at those meetings and for him just being a good guy. I never had the opportunity to know him outside of work, but we shared our life experiences with each other often and Dan is someone that you just never forget. He will truly be missed. God Speed my friend, I will miss you!

My deepest sympathies for the Nagy family. Summertime at the lake will never be the same. My thoughts and prayers are with the Nagy family & their friends during this difficult time.

"In the end, my friend, we will all be together again..."

Dan and I hung out with family and friends on Beaver Lake during the 1980s. Those summers were great. Dan was mature for his age, even back then. He taught me how to do tricks on a kneeboard and we even managed to get 10 kneeboarders up out of the water behind the boat.

I saw Dan at Chenequa this Mother's Day and I noticed how happy he looked then as a proud father.

Dan, may you and your Dad enjoy your blessed days together.

Dan was not only my brother in law he was a dear and close friend. In fact I first met my wife Wendy through Dan and almost 10 years later she is the greatest love that I could ever ask for. Dan was probably the easiest going and yet most passionate individuals that I have ever met. We spent numerous times rock climbing, snow and water skiing, biking, fishing, hunting and talking. Trips to California, Florida, Colorado, Canada, Utah and Kentucky. He excelled at every thing he did and he...
