Not sure what to say?

Dan was a co-worker at LSI/Smiths/GE. He managed his product line with much success, competence & grace, even while glamor and management attention was elsewhere many times. Dan was a true gentleman, only 30-months older than I am, and I am disappointed that he and his family had to suffer from that terrible disease. They do not come any finer than Dan Nameth. RIP, my friend! Al Hughes, Boca Raton, FL

We were lucky to live across from Dan and Mary for 25 years. As neighbors, we bonded over our love of dogs, sports (especially MSU), and the importance of family, supporting each other in life´s most difficult moments, including the death of their beloved Danny. Dan was always looking out for us. Whenever we had a power outage (a frequent occurrence in our neighborhood), he gathered up his lanterns, and distributed them to us and other neighbors so we weren´t in the dark. Though he had a bad...

Dan was a great friend, coworker, and fellow US Air Force officer. He was totally dedicated to the success of our LSI company and his product line. We were certainly better because of his efforts to make our systems the best in the aerospace industry. Thanks to you, the family, for sharing Danny with us. Doug Lunde

I worked with Dan at Smiths Aerospace. He was my first boss there and he taught me about products and people. We played softball together on the company team. He introduced me to Upper Silver Lake where I too bought a cottage. Thank you Dan. RIP.

Dan was always a down to Earth guy tho his aerospace knowledge elevated him and us surrounding co-workers sky high....May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Oh Mr. Dan, you are already so missed by your neighbors of 25 years. All the times you would bring fudge over that you brought back from up north after hunting, or the times we would come home from work after a snow fall and you would have already shoveled for us. Even the times the power would go out and within minutes you would be walking over with lanterns for us to use. The best were the cinnamon sugar donuts from Robinettes you would walk over as soon as you saw we were home from work....

Childhood friend of Dan and Joe on Lyon at in Gr great memories Rip Ed

Thank you for your service Sir

My Dad was a caring and loving husband to my Mother for over 60 years. He was a real life example of a true gentleman who respected women. He always opened car doors, brought flowers home for both my Mother and myself for every holiday in the book - mine always including a stuffed animal special for me. He traveled the world for work and always find the time to bring me dolls from around the world. He taught me to shoot and to fish and was always happier with my success vs. his own. He was a...
