Not sure what to say?

I, too, want to offer my deepest sympathy to all of Dan's family. I have been out of the country and just learned of his death last night. It was my privilege to have been coached/taught by this man of principle and dedication. Fenwick will miss him. We will all miss him.May he rest in peace.

I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to all of Dan's family. I regret that I missed the services. I was out of town and didn't know of Dan's passing until I returned. He was a dear and longtime friend of my father, Pat, and my uncle, Clem. Dan was a big help to me in making the arrangements when my father died in 1990. My thoughts and prayers are with Dan and his family.

I never met Dan O'Brien, but he was indeed a legend at Fenwick. May God bless him and his family at this time... from a member of Fenwick's class of 1998.

I am honored that I knew such a great and devoted man as Dan. Dan thought me much and developed in me abilities that I did not know I had as I am sure he did for many others. I am sure that God holds him in the hollow of His hand. Dan please continue to keep a watch over our great school Fenwick.

I grew up next door to Fenwick and had the pleasure of knowing Dan from the time I was in grammer school. He, Tony Lawless and Bill Shay were dedicated educators who played a huge role in the development of many Fenwick students.I am sure that a great reunion is taking place in heaven!

Tom, please accept our deepest sympathies. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. The Karrs:Anita, Roger, Sarah and Owen

As the Irish like to say, "He Wore It Well." Rest in Peace, Dan O'Brien.

My sympathy to Dan's family. Dan was a strong influence on my life. A great person and a great coach.

When I think of Fenwick I usually think of "the Dobber." In addition to taking care of our physical problems, Dan was someone you could always talk to man to man in an era when sports authority figures were hard to get close to.He was a fine human being of the old school.
