Not sure what to say?

I was at work today relaying the story of the day I first met Dan. An unexpected trip down to Pittsburg With Brian to pick him up from is "state hotel" where he had spent the night. I thought at that moment what I had walked into but my memories are true and I know the young man was a good man and it was my pleasure to have known him and his family. I think of you all often. I miss my friend.

Another year passes, since Dan left us. A man who touched hearts and minds across the globe, he was fun, energetic, sensible, and knew what he what he was talking about. For those he left behind including Ed and Sharyn, who took us ways and strays in without care, because Dan Parry said we were fine, I say - you brought up a wonderful son. I miss him always.

Dan showed me that there was a world beyond what you see every day, and that it's pretty neat. I saw things, heard music, and met people in a different way while I was around him, and I think of him at odd moments. I am sorry for the loss of this passionate, intelligent, and caring person.

im sorry for your loss

My condolences to the Parry family.

I only saw Dan in passing at McDowell, but knew him through shows at the Continental. After I got out of the Army, I only saw him on [too] few occasions when he was visiting Erie, but he was a very remarkable person who I'll always remember.

our sincerest condolences from all of us at the shenandoah valley independent media center, located in harrisonburg, virginia in the shenandoah valley of virginia.
in solidarity!!!

My heart goes out to the Parry family. I am sad to have missed his service, but my sister told me after the fact. I haven't seen Dan in years, but have thought of him often. Most recently when I was showing my daughter, who now attends McDowell, my yearbook. His yearbook entries were highly visible due to his E.P.H.C. and ARSH drawings and sarcasim about how he didn't like signing yearbooks. It just brought a smile to my face. Reading the entries here and on the soccer forum site made me...

I'm sorry I did not get to meet more of the family last Saturday. Although I was never close to Dan, I saw him and spoke with him on a regular basis. He was always friendly and always ready for conversation. The last time I saw him I was with my boyfriend and we dropped by his place to pick something up. He came out to the car in cargo pants, hiking boots, and a hoodie, and I teased him. Its a fond last memory. Dan was a true people person and he will be missed by all.

Dan was a wonderful friend, always friendly and never too busy to help a friend move house. (me)I will always remember him as one of my greatest friends.
