Not sure what to say?

I just now learned of Mr Partin's passing. I was a student of his many years ago at Dauphin County Technical School. He was a great teacher and my daughters also had him years later! Sending prayers to his family. So sorry to hear of your loss!

Dan was my older brother. What a great loss his passing is to our family. Over the years he was such a warm, loving, supportive presence in all of our lives. Whether it was a common love for music, art, or sports, or a holiday gathering, we will always remember those good times. Even though he is gone too soon, we will never forget him. Rest in peace, dear brother.

To Gail and family - sad to see the notice of Dan's passing. Praying the Lord will comfort your hearts and bring good memories to mind of which I'm sure you have many. Our thoughts are with you, Ginnie and Larry Lingle

I have fond memories of Mr. Partin during my time as a student at Steel High. I found him to be a great teacher and a very engaging person. I saw him within the last year while out and about and I didn´t bother to say hello as i doubted he´d remember me because I changed schools but now I wish I would have said " hello" . I´ll never forget when he showed us the film "Playing for Time" he and his wife had small roles and he had interesting stories from that experience. I´m very sorry to read...

Dan was the most optimistic man I knew! Even when teaching was tough, he had a smile on his face. His positive attitude was infectious. He was a great educator and colleague. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

Gail, I am so sorry to learn of Dan's passing! My deepest sympathy and condolences to you and your family!

Todd and I spent many an early morning or evening chatting with Dan while one or other of us were on our daily walk in the neighborhood with our dogs. He was such an intelligent, friendly, kind neighbor to chat with. He always greeted us with a such big smile! We are so saddened to hear of Dan's passing and send our deepest condolences to Gail, Sarah and all other family members. May you find comfort while you navigate your grief.

Dan was a great guy in so many ways-strong voice, intelligence, and love for his family and education. Passionate and devoted, Dan will be truly missed for his fun and upbeat personality. Love, sympathy and caring thoughts go to Gail, Sarah and the family.
