Not sure what to say?

I recently had a wonderful childhood memory of my very favorite teacher, Mr. Payne. I googled him, and found his beautiful obituary. I realize he has been gone 14 years but I wanted to share with the hopes this may reach a family member. My name is Linda Lomonaco (back then) and Mr. Payne taught during that time at Cedargrove school in Covina. I had him for several classes in Grammer school then he moved on with our class to teach Science and math at Jr. High level. He was truly the best...

Mr Payne, my lifetime and ONLY greatest influence in my life. I just came to look him up and found out he passed. Mr Payne encouraged me as a young student in his math and science classes At salsipuedes school in Watsonville CA. I believe he knew I had a troubled home life and I had that extra kind comfort from him, he was very kind, personally came to my home to speak to my mother and visit on his motorcycle. He was very encouraging. I wish I could have met him again as an adult, he had a...

Mr. Payne was my 5th grade teacher at Charter Oak Elementary. My father died the following year and I had no one to take to the Father/Daughter Banquet at school. I asked Mr. Payne and he was thrilled to do it. We went to that function two years in a row... a kindness I have never forgotten as I am 63 years old now. And I still have the book he gave me as a high school graduate, "Jonathon Livingston Seagull", thoughtfully inscribed. He stands alone as the most warmhearted, generous and...

Daniel C. Payne was an amazing man with a fantastic sense of humor. Whenever I was sad or angry, just seeing him would put me in a good mood again I will miss him because he was my only grandpa. R.I.P. I love him.

I had Mr Payne for 8th grade at Salsipuedes Jr High...he was a favorite for sure. His class was always fun. I remember he taught us "Family Life" and we were watching this lady give birth and 1/2 the class was eeeewwwing and he says, oh wait till you see this...and he flipped the projector into reverse...and that baby went right back in where he had just come out...hahahha...good times were had in that class. We will miss you Mr Payne!

Salsi Jr High, I remember Mr. Payne, we always tried to make our projects fun. He was always smiling, I don't think I ever saw him in a bad mood. He was my favorite teacher and I looked forward to his class. He was well loved and will be missed. R.I.P. Mr Payne

Mr. Payne was my teacher at Salsipuedes Jr. High School; he was an amazing teacher; and one of my favorite teachers. I wish I knew he was living in Carmichael, CA. I would of went and visited him; I live in North Highlands, CA. just five - ten minutes away. I've often wondered where he was and what he was doing. He was very interesting when it came to any topic. He has been and always will be missed. Rest in Peace Mr. Payne.
