Daniel J. Peabody

Daniel was a joy. I got to know him and his family as he applied and enrolled at Wheaton College through my role as an admissions counselor. Praying for God’s peace, protection and favor for his loved ones John 16:22

So very sorry for this incredible loss. I knew Dan as a student in my lab at Wheaton. May God give you tender comfort is this time of such loss and hope in eternity for all who believe.

I got to know Dan briefly over a trip to the Grand Canyon in 2022 and when he tutored me when I was struggling in financial accounting class in 2019. Dan showed me kindness and patience when I was having a hard time. During our brief time at the Grand Canyon I was deeply blessed by times of prayer and worship we had in the car with others as we praised God for the glorious sights of Creation we were seeing. He brought such joy to those around him and his faith was such an encouragement....

What a blessing to know Daniel, especially his younger years! I treasure my last hug with him that he was willing to give me. I look forward to seeing him again and getting another! Praying for you today as you remember him and grieve. Wishing we could be there with you today. We love you, Peabody family!!

Daniel was such a bright light into everyone he spent time with as a camper and the kids he poured into as a counselor. He’ll be missed dearly and I cannot wait until we get to see him again in heaven. Praying for all of your family

Dan could (and did) light up whatever room he stepped into. I'm sure he's doing the same thing on the other side. I'm grateful he was a part of my life, and I will miss him. God bless you, bro.
