I read the notice for your son Dan and I was heartbroken to read this. As a father that came very close to losing one of my own sons I can only imagine the loss you and your family are feeling now. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dan, I remember your great sense of humor and the many times you made Susan and I giggle so much when we were teenagers. You also left me with fond memories of tubing down the river in the Colorado Mountains. Everytime I hear Lynyrd Skynyrd it makes me think of you..... fly "Freebird"...Godspeed to you Dan.... You will be missed.
