My deepest condolences to the family (old friend Mark from 1972) for your loss.
I first heard of Danny when he was training for Congo Jones at Garden State Park in the 60's. We did meet up at Atlantic City in 1972. We stayed friend's until the 80's. The day he ran Lord Avie in the Travers he was so happy. He gave all of the Lord Avie friends peanut brittle from Monmouth County, N.J. A true horseman. R.I. P.
