Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear this sad news. I knew Dan from his involvement with the National League of Cities and we would see each other several times a year. Dan was a true leader and I enjoyed talking with him about his beloved city of Bedford, Ohio. My thoughts are with his wife and family and I hope that they are comforted by knowing that he was a person that valued his faith, family and his community. He will be missed!

Dear Pocek family, as a longtime member of the Bedford business community. I had many interactions with Mayor Pocek. There was no bigger supporter of the community than him. He was gracious and attentive, and was someone that I always felt was very approachable. He truly was a true asset to this community. Rest in peace, Mayor Pocek.

Rest in Peace my Friend

Wonderful friend Your family and mine were more than friends Remember the good times

Condolences to the family, Dan will be remembered as a friendly classmate class of 63 and the times he shared his love of history at the Bedford Historical Society. He strived and obtained the gift of history and education. Prayers of peace in knowing he is the hand of the Lord.

May God be with the Pocek Family at this difficult time. Dan was such a passionate booster of all things Bedford and NE Ohio, he was a treat to work with - always warm hearted, knowledgable, gracious and determined. Many people are far better off because of his service and it was a pleasure to know and work with him. Thank you for sharing him with the community at large.

Dan was one of my instructors at Tri-C and I always looked forward to attending his class. His warmth and humor was always present. Just a great guy. Condolences to his family and friends.

Chrissy and Family sorry for your loss. I will always remember our laughter and travels with the National League of City during both Dan and our political careers and after. All the best to you and yours. Wendy Grant.

Always fun seeing Dan at Ballys! His smile was infectious never to be forgotten ! RIP Dan...
