Charlene, Danny and I knew each other for a very long time. I still have photos of Danny in 1965-66 with Adrienne Birdsall and me! in our Easter get up! Feel free to email me I would love to catch up I am saddened by his death..

Just received notice of Danny's passing. He was a fixture in our house growing up. He was my brother Paul's best friend. I remember him as a soft spoken gentle guy. We all knew him as a teenager. Unfortunately, we lost contact as we all grew up. We always think fondly of him and are so sorry to his family.

I just this past weekend was told of Danny's passing. I am shocked and saddened by this loss. Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences. It is a lonely road we now walk. Be brave and lean on each other. In time life's journey may one day be comfortable again, but it takes time, a long time.

Dan & I went throught high school together and came on the PD at the same time. Will miss his trips out here to Vegas, we had great times. May you rest in peace you were a good man. God watch over his family.

This past weekend I was extremely saddened to receive an e-mail about Danny's passing. I first met Danny in 1969 in the 8th Pct. I only worked with Dan for three years, but in that time I found out he was one of the truly good guys in this world. I retired to Florida in 1993 and met up with Dan again several years ago at the Nassau Blue Reunion in Kissimmee, Fl. and at Saturday breakfasts at Cracker Barrel when he was down at Fort Myers Beach. Dan and I were both 8th pct dinosours having spent years there ( I bounced back several times !). Dan was a great guy and even better Detective and friend. He was the glue that held us ALL together. If news happened Dan would make sure everyone knew, good or bad.I only moved to Cape Coral in Oct '07 but that made it easy to go to the cop shop. When Dan was down here we also met at the Crackerbarrel breakfasts. It was always great to see him and tell some well worn war stories.As his illness's...

Dear Charlene and Family;
Lois and I really enjoyed your coming to Florida and sharing with us. The last sing along with Dan's friends (the Del Prado's) was a great day. Even on oxygen Dan could still sing rock and roll. The Harp and Thistle Pipe Band will miss him at our after practice get togethers as well as the retired gang for our monthly breakfasts. We all loved him as I'm sure so does God.

Bill and I know danny 39 years now,how great it all has been all the good times we had together and who else would have run all of those 8th precinct dances! But you did and worked real hard at it but that is just who you were one big great heart. You shall be missed danny. Love you.
