Dan, along with Bobby and Bill gave me my first job as a law clerk after my 1L year. I will never forget one time when Dan assigned a research project. I worked very hard on the memo and after he reviewed it, he thanked me, told me it was well done and asked me about another case which may have relevance of which he had a recollection. I followed him into the firm library and he walked right up to a certain volume of So2d and flipped it open to the very case he was seeking. I stood in awe....
