My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. Although I'm not active in softball any longer, I remember those days well. Bubba was an excellent and well-respected player.
I enjoyed playing softball with you both. God bless!

Debbie, Brandon & Cody,

My heart has been so sad for you and the rest of Bubba's family and friends. Bubba was such a great guy and I am so happy that I had the privilege to know him. Although there is not a lot I can say right now to ease your pain, I hope you know that both Rob and I are constantly thinking about you and want to help out if we can. With all of the great memories of Bubba and the wealth of people who care about you, Brandon and Cody, I truly believe that...

My heart breaks seeing the devastation in my family's faces everyday. I love you all and pray for the time when our family begins to heal in the rememberance of Bubba.

Debbie,

LuAnn and I are shocked and saddened to hear of your loss. Bubba was always open and friendly to us when we saw each other, always seemed happy to be wherever he was, and wherever you were. We remember the great times we had on the Float, and on Kenny's trips to Martinsville. Bubba was a "real" person, with friendship and warmth in his heart. Stay strong and count on us for anything you need.

My family was shocked and devistated to hear about the death of my Uncle Bubba. We will miss him dearly. Aunt Debbie, Brandon, and Cody just remember to stay close to your family in times like these. Grandma and Papa, remember to cherish every moment you have with your childeren and grandchilderen because you never know what will happen. Aunt Stephine, Aunt Kelly, Uncle Steven and daddy just be thankful you had such a wonderful brother who was loved by so many people. I know he loved us all....

Debbie:
Everyone that has played softball over the past twenty years knows that Bubba was an outstanding player. More importantly, he was a good person. While coaching Cody’s basketball team, I have been honored to see firsthand that he was also a great father. During the games, it was plain to see that Bubba was a proud and loving father. Please call us anytime for anything we can do for you.
